    The publication of the first issue of the e-journal Art in Translation in March 2009 was marked with an international symposium, organised by VARIE in association with the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH). The event was attended by internationally acclaimed scholars, promising younger academics, curators, translators and postgraduate students.
