VARIE and its partners are working on a range of exciting research projects. This section will be added to regularly.
VARIE is leading an international initiative to promote best practice in copyright for scholarly purposes.
This exhibition project is part of the UK-wide celebrations of Darwin's life and work in 2009. The exhibition and accompanying catalogue will explore the relationships and mutual influence on the young Charles Darwin and the City of Edinburgh.
A new online visual arts journal has been launched in February 2009. Edited by VARIE, it comprises a range of texts on visual culture not originally published in English.
